Aldorn

Profession: Bard

Young, enthusastic, full of life, and dedicated skirt-chaser, Aldorn is out to see the world, meet new friends, impress as many people as he can, and just maybe get lucky!

Andrahil

Name: Andrahil
Race: Dunedain Human
Profession: Ranger

Aside from dottering old Pendergast, Andrahil is the oldest and most experienced human in the party. He is closed about his background; when asked, he volunteers he is from the North, but adds nothing more. His motives are as much a mystery as his background. He has a dislike for the world in general, and expresses it often to as many people as offend him - which are many. But his intelligence and insight are valued by the party.

Andrahil's weapon of choice is a morningstar.

Bairagläth

Name: Bairagläth
Race: Beorning Human
Profession: Warrior

Tall, solidly built, and stunningly handsome in his blonde hair and beard, Bairagläth joined the party shortly after Baldôr killed Tippy avenging his family's honour. He is searching the troll-shaws in the faint hope of finding his wife alive, for she was carried off by Uruks in a raid on their farm.

Baldôr

Name: Baldôr
Race: Dwarf
Profession: Warrior

Young for a Dwarf, Baldôr is out to avenge his family honour. His father Balric had joined up with a Man, who had filled the old Dwarf's head with tales of a rich silver mine in the north reaches of the Misty Mountains, and was never seen again. Balric had taken with him a hundred gold ("for supplies," was the Man's reason for needing the money.)

Now Baldôr is searching over Middle-Earth for a Man named Druce, who has a scar over his right eye. He also carries a map, a copy of the one the Man had given his father, that purports to show the approximate location of the mine.

Fëalókë

Name: Fëalókë
Race: Noldo Elf
Profession: Warrior

From the most noble race of Elves, Fëalókë is out to purge as much of the evil from Middle-Earth as he can. Often haughty and arrogant, especially when dealing with Men, he nonetheless posesses a tremendous range of skills and talents that make him an invaluable member of the party. In fighting, strategy, and casting spells, few among the party are his equal.

Other members of the party often refer to him as "Fëalókë the Wonder-Elf."

Gavrad

Name: Gavrad
Race: Dunlending Human
Profession: Animist

Outcast both in his own land and abroad, Gavrad is truly alone in the world. His closest companion is a pet lynx (wildcat) named Kyrna. Gavrad is a Dunlending, a race of men scorned throughout much of Middle-Earth. Add to this his own brooding and sour nature (rare for a Dunlending), it is surprising the other members of the party tolerate him at all. But he is not useless: his skills as a healer have been useful on many occasions.

Gavrad carries with him an amulet that lets him cast a spell to summon a small animal once a day, and a set of four oghum stones for warding off evil spirits.

Lornath

Name: Lornath
Race: Sindar Elf
Profession: Scout

Like much of his race, Lornath is a happy-go-lucky Elf. He came from Mirkwood looking for adventure, and adventure he has found. Very young for an Elf, and from a shelterd background, Lornath constantly exasperates the rest of the party with his silly suggestions and absurd ideas. If he lives long enough to actually grow up, he may become a useful scout.

Olaf

Name: Olaf
Race: Beorning Human
Profession: Warrior

Big and strong as a bull, but not quite as smart as one, Olaf is the person the party puts in front when the fights break out. At all other times they keep a watchful eye on him, often as not thankful that his pet dog keeps him more or less in line. More a man of action than speech, Olaf rarely uses complete or coherent sentences. When he does talk, he often wonders about the mystical powers he believes have been bestowed the iron tent pegs he carries.

Olaf's weapons of choice are a large battle-hammer and a large battle-axe.

Olaf's dog was killed by a warg on day 29 of the campaign. Olaf was killed by an Orc arrow on day 39 of the campaign.

Pendergast the Purple

Name: Pendergast the Purple
Race: Human
Profession: Wizard

Old, a bit feeble, and almost blind, Pendergast embarked late on his career as a Wizard and Alchemist. He looks like a wizard: long white beard, white hair scrambling to escape from under his large pointed hat. But he is no Gandalf. He experiments with chemicals and compounds, ever looking for things that go bang. He wanders along with the party in hopes of finding new and exotic ingredients for his experiments.

In battle, Pendergast prefers to cast spells, but he also carries a bow and arrow.

Tippy Rumlover

Name: Tippy Rumlover
Race: Dwarf
Profession: Unknown

Aside from his name, Tippy does not really know who he is. He was found in the deeps of Moria suffering from deep amnesia. Around his neck he wears a slate that reads, "I have been sober for *** days," which he carefully updates every day. A bit of a poet, he amuses himself by writing rhymes that insult pompous Elves.

Tippy was killed by Baldôr on day 58 of the campaign.
